HUD Question

This is minor, but figured I would ask, maybe others have the same situation. Should the HUD speed match the speedometer speed? I would assume they are driven from the same source, although my HUD is 1-2 mph less than the speedo.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Re: HUD Question

I was wondering this same thing. Mine is 1-2 mph faster than what my speedometer says and it's weird because it's at the right speed and my speedometer is off a tiny bit.

Re: HUD Question

It is normal to have some very minor deviation between the HUD speed readout and the analog display at the IP. Both get there reference signals off the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) via the PCM module. Between the two I believe the HUD is more accurate which is the same for all digital versus analog gauges.
