97 GTP Problem

1997 GTP 108000 miles

First off let me start by sayin I already have my D.I.C unplugged, reason for that is at night if its on my head lights and cluster lights will turn off and on at higher speeds.

Problem I am having is whenever my Low Fuel light or Abs light come on, the above problem I mentioned happens, but sometimes its worse, I'll stop at a red light and then I'll accelerate and get my Rpms near 3000 but the car sounds like its in park and I'm just reving the engine up, Then eventually it kicks in and I can drive, to "reset this problem I'll have to pull over and turn the car off and back on. This only happens if my Low fuel light or abs light comes on, is there an electrical overload of some sort? How's it causing my engine to stall?

Re: 97 GTP Problem

Based on your various symptoms you may have a bad ignition switch.
