Braker Caliper Pin/Bolt Question

According to myisuzuparts.com the top and bottom caliper bolts are different sizes. When I called the dealers to inquire about the part they never mentioned it. I ordered a bolt from O'Reilly's and they never mentioned different sizes. I never noticed any size differences when doing the passenger side. In fact I just lubed them and put them on. Wonder if any damage would occur?

Any input is much appreciated.

Note:

The top bolt is called the guide pin and the bottom one is called the pin lock.

When I tried to print the diagram from myisuzuparts.com, it prints a different diagram and just shows only one caliper bolt. I'm confused.

Re: Braker Caliper Pin/Bolt Question

Ok, I'll try to articulate my theory as best I can. I think that from the factory, there are two different bolts but the difference is only slight. One of the bolts can be used in place of the other one so after market brake parts only sell the one to keep things simple. In other words, don't sweat it. Every parts website I looked at had both bolts as the same part number.

Re: Braker Caliper Pin/Bolt Question

I've never noticed any difference. I just put them back in what ever order I grab them. So far no problems.

Picked up my bolts/pins today. Nine bucks for a set and quick turnaround.

Thanks for the posts.
