Tuck Tanner

The left turn signal on our 2001 Beetle has gone crazy. The right one blinks as it should, but the left on flashes like it's on speed. Is there a seperate flasher for each turn signal or is it part of the emergency flash unit and it all has to be replaced?

I doubt it is the flasher. There is a single flasher. I'd start by making sure all of the left side light bulbs are good. Fast flash normally means one of the turn signal lamps is burned out.
