Chevy Prism 2000 PO171

I have a chevy prism. The computer diagonostic shows that the upstream oxygen sensor and MAF sensor need to be replaced. I replaced the upstream oxygen sensor and cleaned the MAF sensor with a electronic part cleaner. After driving 30 miles, the check light still is glowing.
Does anybody have any advice for me?

Just because you have a trouble code associated with a specific sensor, it does not mean that the sensor is bad...you need to understand how these sensors operate, along with their associated wiring. What were the exact codes that came up ?
