1996 6 cycliner chevy truck died while

turning a corner. Everything was fine, no problems starting as it has a new battery and starter and a fuel pump was replaced a year ago. It just died and now won't start. It has plenty of gas and new fuel filter. It will start for am inute when I spray starter fluid in it but then it sputters and dies.
Can anyone give me some advice ?
I am probably in the wrong forum but I'm just a hard working girl who doesn't know much about engines.

Please excuse the misspelling of the word cylinder in the subject title

Get the fuel pressure tested for initial diagnosis. Got gas in the tank, of course?

replacing the fuel pump a year ago means nothing ive had pump die after months because when running low gas levels the pump heats up higher than when you have the tank full.

Get the pressure checked if it is normal then its another problem however if the fuel pressure is noticably low then replace the pump and if you can dont let your gas level get below 1/4 tank.

Edit: I just read about you spraying starter fluid and it cranks for a moment so you either have 2 problems

1) Injection System: Injectors, Fuel Pump, Filter ect.

2) Computer Problems
