Angry

I have a grievance!

I've noticed that some people (I really haven't paid attention to names at all) feel that they must post the same thread in many different forums. Back at carforums we often referred to this as "spamming". I know it may not completely fit the definition of the term, and I'm not at carforums right now, but I still find it completely unnecessary. If I go into the Honda forum and then see the same exact thread posted in each and every sub-forum it kinda pisses me off. first off, I wait for the sub-forum to open up because there's "something new" to look at, then must wait for the back button to reload the previous page because I find that it's the same thread that appeared in 4 other sub-forums that I already looked at. It really does cause more strife than it could ever possibly help. Not only does it split up the discussion into many different threads, thereby necessitating the repeat of many statements or the use of "if you looked at this thread in the prelude forum...." many times over.

If it applies to so many different forums then it should be placed under a more general topic. Now, I'll just be pissed off because nobody reads this and I'll have to break my own rule by posting it under all the different subforums to get the message across.....

gets annoying when you're about to reply to the same post twice, and then realize its the same person asking the same question
