wierd noise coming from transmission i think lol

hey guys. i have a 2000 grand am gt.
its makin a wierd grindin type noise, and it sounds like its comin from the transmission. i put my hand on the transmission fluid cap and it feels like it vibrates more when the noise happens too.
soooo...
where can i find the transmission fluid check?
has anyone had this problem also?

another thing...
i just took it to a mechanic, they hooked up the computer tester thing.
and it said that the mass air flow sensor, the tps sensor and the other air intake sensor thing was bad. so they replaced those, and my car still did the same thing.

Hey If youre throwing away money, throw it my way !

Those parts rarly fail with out some help.

I'd say its either your CV joint or a hub bearing assembly.
Or is it growling when in park ??

But other things lke the power steering pump can make growling noises.

oh yea. it does it all the time. when im in park, or in drive stopped at a light.
but it does it worse when its in park

take it to a trans shop, hard to say what it is with out the proper look over.
