I just got my first car, its a 1994 Camry coupe. Im pretty confused about replacing the windshield wipers. Do I replace the entire wipers or just the rubber? Are there brands/price points to avoid? Any idea what size they are?

If you have the original OEM wiper blades you can replace just the rubber inserts. The inserts are only sold by Toyota dealers. I would take the wipers off the car and go to your local Toyota dealer's parts department and ask them if they are the original blades or not.

By the way, the blades for a car made in Japan and one made in the US can differ. Check your VIN number to see if it starts with a "J", indicating a car built in Japan, or a number, indicating a car built in the US. The dealership's parts department will need to know this to give you the proper blades/inserts.

I would not go to dealer for that simple matter as wiper blades. Dealer is too expencive!!!
If you can remove the wipers from the car go to any automotive store. The guys there should be able to help you with finding correct inserts.

They make few different kinds of windshield wipers. Some of them need to be pulled of the arm. Sometimes you need to push a clip in order to remove the wipers from the arm. Sometimes the wipers secured to the arm by screws.
This is not a rocket science and you will be able to do it!

Go with with OEM replacement rubber. It works best in my experience. All you have to do is measure the length of the rubber and get one to match - they go by length. You can even buy rubber too long and cut it to size with a razor blade.

Aftermarket blades have given me trouble, but I haven't tried too many brands.
