2004 Vette nonfunctioning ignition

Has anyone else had a problem with not being able to get the key into the ignition--springs sprung inside possibly?

It's one of the last of the beautiful fall days and I cannot drive my ragtop!

Any advice aside from changing the ignition switch?

sray with compressed or contact cleaner
