2003 sl 500 airfilter change

How do you get the airfilters out of this car? My SLK 320 was easy but I see no screws or latches. Any help would be greatly appreciated! The down side to the 500 is the cost of maintenance! I changed out the cabin airfilters in about 10 minutes while Mercedes wanted $185 to do it! The filters cost $128 from the dealer but made a huge difference in the cabin smell. I bought the car used with 28000 miles on it and the original owner must have been a heavy smoker and just plain smelled bad! Thanks for your help!
