Subaru in the mix ~

Another way of looking at this equation is that an F1 would need "only" 740 hp to reach the Bugatti's top speed.

Re: Subaru in the mix ~
Yeah - forgetting that those wheels were designed in the early 1990's.
The exciting part for you and I is that these photos seem to confirm the car being in SoCal.
The search continues...

Re: Subaru in the mix ~
Thanks LeMan - I hadn't seen those images yet but I guess they are less than a week old. It might be a while before I see it if it's staying out there now.
The license plate could just be a matter of convenience due to the high costs of registration and excessive smog laws in place in California. Jay Leno's F1 wears a Massachusetts plate in California. Maybe the car will find its way back out here again.

I can't figure out how the heck you deduced that it's in California from the photos on the Subaru forum. I see no discernable cues that indicate it being in California. Mind filling me in?
We'll, if you ever get any leads, I'm willing to follow them. That's always paid off in the past.

Re: Subaru in the mix ~
There was nothing in the photos - I registered for the forum and looked up some of his other posts. While it seems he still has that black WRX wagon, he traded his STI in and bought an orange Lotus Elise which he then took photos of in front of the Oakley building. That and a few of his other threads placed him in Orange County somewhere.
I should probably send him a note and see what he can tell me. He wasn't being all that forthcoming in the thread though, so I don't have high hopes.

This pic is from the same event, but year 2005. The grey F1, bottom left. #? was owned by Gary Schaevitz at the time of this event.
