No Heat On Driver's Side of 2000 Astro

I am tired of freezing! I get no heat on the driver's side of my 2000 Astro. I am pretty sure the problem is behind the dog house, with either a vacuum hose or a stuck/disabled vent flap of some sort. How do I remove the dog house and has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, it is a design flaw that GM put out a fix for under warranty only. They remove the center console and instal a reworked air duct. Talk to your dealer or wear thicker socks.
