1998 jeep grand cherokee laredo..300..strt line 6

was stopped to open gate and the engine quit.checked gas gauge and it registered empty with the warning pump lit.i know for certain it has half a tank and i can hear the pump run with key on.still wont fire.then noticed none of the gauges, even volt meter is registering.it turns over great.also no engine light comes on when you first turn on key.my question..is there a hidden fuse or reset swich for the computer?i would hate to buy a new puter and only have to hit a reset switch or fuse .i have checked all fuses i could find inside and under the hood.thanks for any help.
