Not sure how things are up there, but Tampa dealer runs an ad that offers the base Boxster on a 48 month lease at about $400/month with $5000 out of pocket and a residual of about $23K. My wife wanted a 330CI for her 50th birthday, but I got her a Boxster and saved a ton of money. The key, of course, is to be able to live with the base Boxster as advertised. Car is well equiped base except standard AM/FM with casette (!) is pretty worthless as a sound system. The car drives like a high powered gocart, but, at 6-2, I am really too tall to be comfortable in the car. Good luck.

Used Boxster

Arthur, I would suggest that you look at www.autotrader.com to check on used Boxsters in your area. I just did a quick check within 100 miles of Tampa and there were almost 100 with prices ranging from just over $30,000 to over $50,000. Used Boxsters tend to be much more expensive than used BMW Z3s. If you are over 6' 2" you might want to consider something else as I can only ride in or drive my wife's for about 2 hours before cramping starts.
