Golf Mk3 Electric Window probs????

Hi

I've got a mk3 golf gti 5 dr full electric windows all work fine then exactly a minute later after putting the keys in the ignition the drivers window stops working?
Every other window works fine and when the drivers window is working thats fine press the switch no clicking any ideas?

It has a after market alarm "Codealarm"

Sounds like the electric window normally works fine and I guess that one of the alarm functions when set, is to lock doors via central locking and shut electric windows if open.

Why not try turning alarm off completely or disconnecting (remove fuses) and see if the problem persists - appears to me like an alarm based problem though.
