Yes. you can move a 2000 5.3 to a 1999 GMC Suburban. they use the same engine

Umm...I don't know. They changed the Suburban/Tahoe/Yukon body style up in 2000. The '99s still have the 5.7L. My parents have a '99 Tahoe.

But the engine will fit.

They still offered the Classic style in 99 but also the nbs as well.
