Hey everyone.
I have a 1989 toyota corolla, le 4dr sedan, I am getting a rumbling/knocking sound in the front left of the car. It is very pronounced in left corners on the highway, also if you apply more throttle it gets louder, compleatly off of the throttle it is not there as much. I just put new struts on the front and rear, as this noise has been with the car for a while, however with the new struts up front, (the old ones were compleatly shot), that noise is alot louder. Before this I figured it was just bad struts, now with new ones in, it must be something else. I was thinking maybe the CV axle on the left side, the outer boot has a lot of grease build up on the inner side of it, (farthest from the wheel). Any thoughts/ help would be much appreciated! Just wanted to let you all know that it was the cv axle, just incase someone see's this for help

a cv joint will cluck like chicken when you turn a corner .a wheel bearing will rumble or make a grinding noise
