AuxSilverado514 09-08-2007, 09:35 AM Hi everyone, What the easy and the best way to use my Radio Unit (AUX) it's 03 LT 6CDs. rjeffery 09-08-2007, 11:37 AM What do you mean? Do you want to use the AUX button to control another device such as an Ipod? Silverado514 09-08-2007, 03:53 PM yes or any RCA connection. silverado122775 09-08-2007, 06:40 PM if you still have tape you can hook up a tape player :) Silverado514 09-09-2007, 01:40 AM if you still have tape you can hook up a tape player :) No tape only 6CDs will this help? http://www.cardomain.com/item/PIEGM9AUX?vq_id=none but it says: Not compatible with in-dash slave 6-disc changer silverado122775 09-09-2007, 02:11 PM that would make since you already have 6 disk player built in. Maybe you could hook up a DVD player rjeffery 09-09-2007, 08:16 PM You can do it. You need an adapter that converts the input socket on the back of the stereo (originally designed for a tape deck or external cd changer) to an RCA jack. I believe the part number is GM-AUX. I got mine from Tweeter for like $50, and allows you to install any other device with RCA jacks and also gives you an input for your changer/tape deck. I use mine for my Ipod with the help of a RCA to headphone wire from Radio Shack. Big_Black_2500HD 10-17-2007, 10:17 PM Is there any instructions on the internet on how to do this? rjeffery 10-17-2007, 11:08 PM Not that I know of. If you buy the adapter, it comes with instructions. Pretty simple, it just plugs right in. Big_Black_2500HD 10-17-2007, 11:18 PM do you have a link to the adapter or what i should search for? rjeffery 10-17-2007, 11:25 PM http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piegm9aux.html http://www.autotoys.com/x/catalog/GM_AUX_ADAPTER_2003_12PIN_FEED_AUX_SOUND_INTO_YOUR _CAR_OR_TRUC_p_2521.html http://www.audioallies.com/GetItem.asp?Item=GMAUX-9-OB I got mine at Tweeter for $50. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
