I just changed my oil put 10w30 penz hm in my car like always used tg3397 instead of the nomral ph3397 i normally use. and the change oil light comes on when i start the cars and shuts off about two minutes after every start. Im not sure if I should be worried or not. I have never had this problem before with her and it even baffles the people i alwasy go to for car advise. please put my mind at ease telling me it is nothing to worry about.

Did you reset the system?

I know I have to do that with my 98.

Turn the key to run but do not start, then press the gas pedal to the floor 5 times in 3 seconds...or is it 3 times in 5 seconds. I can't remember but that's how you do it. The chg. oil soon light will flash a couple times then you are good to go.

Thank you so much, I tried the 5 times in 3 seconds a couple times thinking that I was doing it wrong or got the timing wrong. Then I tried the 3 times in 5 seconds and the light went of shortly after start up.
