No head lamps, A/C, turn signals, horn, wipers!

My 2000 Newbeetle just started multiple failures! No headlamps, no A/C or heat (fan not working), no turn signals, horn, wipers...
Is there some relay that controls all these items? Is it an ignition switch problem? I checked the fuse blocks (door jam and battery cover) with no faults found.
An help would be appreciated.
Thanks Eric

Re: No head lamps, A/C, turn signals, horn, wipers!

Problem is the ignition switch and connector. A loose connection caused heat, melting switch and connector. It almost looks like the wire bundle was a bit short causing the connector to be pulled when steering column is adjusted (up ans down). What were they thinking when they designed this electrical nightmare!
The connector and switch can be accessed by removing cover on left side of steering column (drivers left).
