vacuum resevoir?

My 99 lumina's plastic pieces are getting in rough shape. I noticed the plastic that covers the underside of the front bumper to the wheelwell on the drivers side was split and hanging. When I moved it there was a hiss! It looks like a float from a toilet tank hanging from vacuum line. Does this strike anyone else as odd?

No, it is where Chevy put the vac canister, you need it to have enough vac to operate things

Re: vacuum resevoir?

Good to know. Hopefully things will run better now that I've secured it and the hose isn't leaking because it moves around while holding the trim pieces on!
