94 astro-top rear door will not unlock

I have a 94 astro with the three rear doors. I have been reading the threads on this problem but have not found the answer. When I unlock the back doors with either the release button up front or with the key in back the right side realeases but the left stays locked. I removed the trim to get at the actuator and everthing seems normal. The plastic collars, as stated on other threads, are still there. When I actuate the open button, the actuator operates and the rods move to open the door. But the left side will not open. How do I get my door open to work on it?

Well I figured it out. The rod had fallen out of the plactic bushing at the left latch. I was able to snag the latch arm with the rod and pop it open.
