Question from future Z owner

Hi everyone, i was just checking out prices for camaro z28's and Ive found that for the performance you cant go wrong with the price...but this raises another question, what is the norm for insurance on these machines, i know its going to be high obviously, but i have a limit to what i can spend month to month on insurance...if you guys could tell me what you pay and your age and what other pieces of information you could give me, it would be MUCH MUCH appreciated.......THAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANKS!

My 95 Camaro...

I bought my 1995 Camaro z28 (t-tops) a few months ago and i only paid 9,000 for it. It came with 60,000 miles and it was a 6speed. I had mods such as suspensions work, throttle body, headers, exhuast, short shifter, k&N Intake, etc. My insurance isnt too bad either im with State Farm and im 17 and im paying 850 ever 6 months. Hope that helps

I'm 19, almost 20. Had one claim, small fender bender in the winter, I slid into someone, didn't do any damage to me, just exploded his POS Buick fender. I am In the process of purchasing an 01 SS and I was quoted $1300 a year by my insurance company. I even double checked it and watched him select all the stuff on the computer. That includes "good grades" discount, and no tickets (yet). Farmers Insurance by the way.
