Out of my '98 C/K manual: KG9=140 amp K60=100 amp K68=105 amp The code should be listed in the glove box placard. Otherwise call a Chevy dealer with your VIN and they will tell you what it came with from the factory. mmagliaro 09-07-2007, 11:59 AM Sorry to chime in here, but my 1998 K1500, with a 5.7L does not have any of those 3 codes in the VIN. Mine is a K19.
