Aftermarket wheel on, but how do I HORN?

That's right, I finally got my new wheel on, to you all the Sparco hub did fit perfectly. Everythings good but how do you wire the horn up, I took the hornwires off the stock wheel and put the spring loaded wire in where it went and the other one grounded to the wheel like it was, but the horn is constant, even with the horn button not pressed, it jsut keeps going, whats wrong? My friend is using my car for a drivetest soon and will need the horn or he cant do it....I need help! LANCE, why is he BANNED?!?! Unban Lance!

Re: Aftermarket wheel on, but how do I HORN?

I'm not good with the whole wiring thing but when i bought my camaro it came with an aftermaket wheel and the guy made the horn into a switch type thing right on the stering column, so instead of pushing the horn u flip the switch just so it could pass inspection. And when the hell did Lance get banned????Must of been recently

Disconnect the horn wires from the wheel and take a resistance measurement of the switch with a multimeter. Should be an open when the button is not pressed and 0 ohms when pressed. If not, then its a bad switch!
