Question Power Locks Problem??????

Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem:
I have a 94 Accord EX, and when I lock the doors , the locks keep on locking themselves over and over for about 5-6 times. I appreciate any info you may have on this problem.

Thanks

Sounds like a relay problem. Might want to take it to an electrician. The button probably gets stuck too, even though in the cabin it might go back to original position.

i had the same problem with my car. it's the lock actuator that is going bad on the driver's side. you can get the part at any honda dealer. if i remember right, i paid around $100 for the lock actuator from my local honda dealer and installed it myself, it wasn't too difficult. i was kinda pissed because after i installed it, i checked out majestic honda's site and they were selling it for cheaper. anyway, i don't have any probs with my locks anymore. honda actually has a service bulletin about this same problem.

it is easy, just take off door panel, unscrew actuator (it will be connected via a rod to your lock rod and will be a little box or look like a gun). Take out wire rod that is connected to your lock rod and remove/
cut wires or undo splice. You might want to keep the rod from the old actuator for the new one. Obtain an actuator ...parts express online for
5 or 6$. Mount it where old actuator was, wire it up and try it out. Make
sure to connect to lock rod, not door lever rod. Hint, keep door panel off
because I wired mine backward and had to go back in and reverse wires.

I have the same problem. But only the rear door. The passenger rear did it first and finally died. Now the driverside rear is doing it. Neither door in the front does it. So that would be the individual door lock actuator itself and not the driver door actuator, correct?

I'm about finish with replacing the front drivers side actuator but i can't seem to hook up the smaller rod. It fell off and didn't get to see where it actually connected to the lock. I know it connects to the key in the handle but I can't figure where it connects on the bottom. If anyone has a pic please post it or email it to me at mkasim@adelphia.net
