Fuel Filter

Hi first time jetta owner would like to know if a special tool isused to take off fuel filter.
2000 jetta 2.0 auto matic 80000 miles runs and looks great just want to change fuel filter

no special tool, changed mine the other day on the fuel lines you will see the connectors and on the top parts you will see/feel what looks like a black clip that molds into the connector push it in and pull on the fuel line and it should come off.... took me 15 minutes to figure it out. but no tool just a thumb and a finger
