Owwww , the add is gone... it said something about "who taught you how to drive" and has this guy in a wife beater... pretty funny.

A little tidbit for you... I won the Longest Fart contest at the "R.N.O." back in 92.

Re: Yeeeeeeehawww!

I want to see evidential fact that removing the cat has any serious performance gain.

It did on my old 2.8l V6 1986 Blazer. It could actually spin the wheels a little once the cat was 86'd. It wasn't like a shot of nitrous, but it was a marked increase in power, especially off the line.

Now if you're asking for Dyno numbers then you'll have to ask CHP or something... but they'd probably get in trouble for proving to you skeptics that it actually does something.

I don't remove my cats for performance gains.

I do it because I hate the enviroment and I want to surf the wave that will come from melting the polar ice caps.

Re: Yeeeeeeehawww!

same as stepho..

except that
1) my cats WERE plugged..so removing one side made me gain like 20 more miles to the tank.. so another one ,and i might be getting my rated 15-16 mpg.
and
2) it wouldnt matter if i didnt have a cat at all cuz hawaii doesnt visual inspect eithier!

oh, sidenote also, enviriomental damage is non existant from removing cat, right? correct me if im wrong, but the cat is just to get rid of the carbon monoxide...so it doesnt kill people...right? enviromentally its all the same to the ozone...?
