Help hood latch not working?

I got in a fender bender where the hood of my corolla is barely bent I mean lifted 1/2 inch on one side. Since then my release latch for the hood wont work. It feels like it tries when I pull it almost as if the hood is stuck? I dont hear the typical pop noise when it releases but not sure what to do?

Year?

Try and give it a tug while someone pulls the release.

Re: Help hood latch not working?

A body shop could solve the problem if your willing to part with some $$. I would guess 1 hour at the prevailing shop rate. The won't fix the dents but they have a lot tricks that might solve your problem.

Were you on your cell phone?
