1995 Firebird Performance Ideas

i have a 1995 pontiac firebird. its a 3.4 L v6. does any 1 have any performance suggestions??

i vote for a sticky for v6 performance since its a frequently asked question. anyway, not alot you can do with the 3.4 besides intake, exhaust(headers, high flow cat, and catback), lower temp stat, ignition upgrades, and maybe a tune. you might get close to 200hp. not a huge aftermarket following with this engine though. the 3.8 that replaced the 3.4 had greater performance potential.

Oh you can do way more than that, there's tons you can do those engines.. is it worth it? Now that's a whole other debate.

I second that. I've seen a sticky like that titled "So you wanna be fast" on another forum (I'm afraid of mentioning it by name at the rick of getting a free all expense paid two week vacation to bandlandia). It was a very comprehensive, from boltons to forced induction.
