2006 UplanderFuel Filter?

My mother has a 2006 with 31K and am wants to change the Fuel Filter. I can't find a part # for it. Autozone, Napa, O'Reilly, and AC Delco do not list it on their website. Surely someone make one.

Re: 2006 UplanderFuel Filter?

You can't find one because the part doesn't exist . The Uplander does not utilize a fuel filter, rather it uses a screen at the bottom of the sending unit in the fuel tank.

EDIT: So I guess this means it's not a good idea to run your gas tank low before you fill up again so as not to pick up any crud or debris that may be lurking in the bottom of the tank to plug the screen. This is especially important as the vehicle gets older and the buildup of debris increases.
