Help?

I have an rx-7 in my garage that i bought for 900$ but i soon learned that only half the engine runs, but i just cnt seem to figure out hat the problem is, would it be the pins.. or?? please post back asap

We'll need a little more detail than that. What year is it? Turbo? Have you compression tested it yet? Have you checked the spark and spark plugs?

its not a turbo and i have check the spark plugs... i ust dont know how to get it to run. i havent compression tested it.

if you disconnect the spark plugs, crank the engine or turn the engine by hand, and if you hear 3 "whooshes" you have some kind of compression
make sure you cut off the fuel first (i guess the fuse will work ok)

its the ghetto compression test
