S10 stalls at traffic lights & spark knock

I have replaced the fuel pump two times, TPS, computer, cleaned egr, fuel pump relay, and all that has brought me to this where it stalls at traffic lights at idle and also spark knocks when you accelerate. I cannot figure it out but I think it is the distributor or the timing. I have not been able to check these yet. Any other probabilities?

Sorry I messed up the first time i put this in traveling in Malaysia for my company. 1991, 4.3L, pickup, replaced exhaust, replaced TPS, fuel pump twice, fuel pump relay and oil pressure switch. tune-up within 4k and maybe 6month, I thought the timing because of other p[osts from this site. My brother in law had similar characteristics on a larger Chev truck from auction and he had someone replace the distributor but I am not sure that is it here. I have tested the coil and the ignition mod and found both to be good. I need some expert advise. I have also replace the computer with a rebuilt one within a year and a half. Plug wires and distributor cap too.
Help!!! and yes Sox rule!

Re: S10 stalls at traffic lights & spark knock

The total miles are about 93,000. Just another dad trying to survive teenagers Insurance costs. I feel I have been violated! That plus rising house pay makes life interesting.
Wah Wah Wah I Know! This truck has been a project ever since I got it. It used to be a farm truck and has had this miss or rough idle from day one and the used car guy told me it was a bad choke. Come to findout it is a TBI and I have not seen the choke! Anyway Help!
