New 3.5L Engine

Now I know that in Europe, MB has replaced the 3.2L engine in their S-class and SL roadster with a 3.5L engine. As a result the S320 sedan will be relabeled as S350. Since this is the first time that the SL has a 6-cylinder engine since the new SL was unveiled, it won't be getting the same treatment. But it will be labeled as the SL350.

I was wondering, if this engine will ever reach to other markets such as Asia, Australia and South Africa? I know definitely not for Canada and the US, because they're not yet approved by the EPA.

Anyways, will this new engine be replacing the 3.2L engine still present in their C320, E320 and CLK320? I know that the new M class SUV will be getting this treatment, which will be around 2004.
