really stupid question but. (explained)

how do you post the URL into an image in the sig.

I just put up the Ferrari F430 and would like members to have an easier time finding it by just clicking on the picture.

I was looking at alot of places for it but I'm no computer geek.

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks

Re: really stupid question but.

This page explains all the vB codes. Basically you need to nest the image tag within the url tag, something like:

(url=internet address)(img)picture address(/img)(/url)

Round brackets substituted for square ones so it appears on screen.

Re: really stupid question but.

Yeah, first choose "Insert link" and then after pressing OK, choose "Insert Image".

Also remember not to use "enter" between the different URL tags if you want the images side by side on the same row. I would recommend using one "space" between the tags so there will appear a small gap between the pictures. Like in my signature. (I'm using Firefox browser... +"Remove It Permanently" add-on to block some adds)

And also note, that sometimes after adding a new thread, this forum may change the showthread.php's number for some crazy reason. I think I had to change my last thread's URL at least two or three times... Otherwise the link connected to the picture in my signature stopped working...

Re: really stupid question but.

I was under the impression that only admin could put HTML in their signatures - is this not the case?

Re: really stupid question but.

vB code and html to my understanding, are two very different things.

You can use vB code to create links through images and the like, but we can't use 'full blown' html on AF.

Oh ok... I see now. Damn I was confused there for a while.
As you can see I figured it out... cheers.
