1996 Geo Corolla won't start , New Timing

Hello All , I have a 1996 Geo , 1.6 . I replaced the timing belt and the car ran better than it has in a long time . Drove about 10 miles and it died . Won't start . Has great spark , timing is still right on the money . Seems to be getting the spark plugs wet with gas if you crank it for very long . I have changed the crank sensor , spark plugs , three relays ( engine main , head , and EFI ) . Changed the fuel filter . I cranks like there is no fire , but when you release the key it fires a couple of cylinders . Took the spark plugs out , they fire great when cranking . I've turned lots of wrenches , Alfa Romeo mechanic , rebuilt a couple of Rotary engines . I'm stumped . Any Ideas will be appreciated. Thanks
