2000 Sienna XLE, Low pressure indicator

I have had my Sienna 2000 XLE for about 2 months, and I have never seen a tire pressure indicator on a car. The indicator is always on, I have read the manual, verified and checked the tire pressure to 65 psi, I have pressed the reset button, and no resolution yet.

Can anyone help me figure out why I cant get that light to turn off.

Re: 2000 Sienna XLE, Low pressure indicator

65 psi is too high, proper pressure is in manual or stamped near driver's door, likely more like 30 psi is proper setting. The low pressure indicator works off of the anti-lock brake speed sensors. It will measure speed of the wheels and if one wheel is different than others, the light will activate. There can also be many false alarms from tires being slightly different in size and other things. Many people have had the light keep coming on after resetting it.
