Unstable Engine TempCBaron 11-06-2002, 04:46 PM OK here is the problem: Last year when it was getting cold(40F) I found that my car took an abnormally long time to warm up. I also noticed the temp guage was showing a cooler running temperature. Worst of all...WHEN I TURNED ON THE HEATER THE TEMP GUAGE WOULD DROP BACK DOWN TO THE BLUE, COLD HASH MARK! I figured it was a week thermostat so I had it replaced this passed summer. Now that it is getting cold again I'm seeing the same symptoms again. Any one have any sugesstions? I'm beginning to think my mechanic never replaced my thermostat. Thanks for the help.
