Re: p0101

did you clear the code after the first read. otherwise it is still stored. for that price the scanner ought to have that feature, otherwise disconnect battery voltage to the computer for 30 seconds.

Re: p0101

The MAF might just be dirty. Some auto parts stores have MAF cleaner spray. If you cant find that use chlorine free brake cleaner (carb cleaner usually leaves a film). Just spray it real good, be carefull of the 2 thin wires (you'll see what I mean when you take it apart). They can break easy so dont hit them with full force spray close up. If you use a K&N or other oiled air filter use less oil, it will coat the sensor.

The emisions status might just be that it hasnt completed a test cycle. Some of them take a while to complete (evap system is usually the longest). It should show you what tests have completed on the display and which are still pending. I have the Innova 3030 (model below yours) and have had no complaints. Mine is able to erase codes so yours should. When you do it resets all the test sequences though so the ecu needs to run through them again.

Re: p0101

My $49 code reader from Harbor Freight can erase codes. Pretty much a standard feature.
