106 Rallye

Special limited version built for Rallying.

The tiny 1.3 enine kicks out 100bhp, and feels so much more! Weight is about 900kg, so power to weight is spot on!

This is my cousins car. Chipped, induction, exhaust. We never had it dynoed, but it should have been kicking out a good 120 bhp!

Great fun!

:monkeypis I doubt your 1.3 rallye is 120 hp with these mods only. In stock form it gives around 90-95 hp not 100 the company claims. So you must have around 105-108. Dyno it and see for yourself!!

It isn't mine, belongs to my cousin!
Any power claims are only guessing, and unfortunately he has changed the car for an FTO now!

the rallye does *feel* quick tho...probably coz of the engine noise. my gti is good for 130 ish bhp at the mo. Air filter and a full magnex are the only mods..

Re: 106 Rallye

the S1 Rallye is just under 100bhp and the S2(Series 2) IS 103BHP both are fast and have shit loads of torque, visit www.106rallye.co.uk this is the official 106 rallye register there are only less than 500 in the country, and it is only avilable in Bianco white and indigo blue, in the s2 but the s1 you can get red, black, white. both models have all colour coded bumpers and come with white wheels.

Re: 106 Rallye

i drove on several 106 editions
including the rallye mk1 (1996) which drove amzingly accurate and connective with the road, and with a gti version (s16 -french name) of the year 1998.

great cars, over-all, engine weak in the rallye/xsi editions, better in the gti (v16) and, a very nice ground for modding.

the 1.3 rallye has 103bhp, the 1.6 has 100bhp but more torque, if they mods are good quality ones then 120 is easiler achevible
