Angry 2000 Tahoe Z71 losing power while climbing

My problem started while climbing a hill on cruise control. I was set at 70 and towards the top of the hill it completly cut out of cruise and began losing speed. In my attempt to re-accelerate I felt the truck shuddering, though I managed to complete the climb and on the descent I regained power. Shortly after I approached another smaller hill and I immediatly began to lose power and I was struggling to maintain 20mph on the shoulder. I have had this problem before and the service engine light came on both times , however when I took to my mechanic the computer code read random misfire so I am hesitent to get that same response can anyone help me, Please.

I was able to fix my problem from reading several articles on this forum. They led me to believe that my problem was in the gasoline quality I was getting from putting the lowest priced gas in my neighborhood. This poor quality gasoline was fixed by adding Lucas fuel treatment and all my power was restored after a few miles later. So if ther is anyone out there wondering if all gas stations out there are created equal my story is a true testament to the fact that all gas stations are not putting out the same quality gas.
