Unhappy ignition fuse on 92 Metro

My ignition fuse on my metro keeps blowing. It will only blow when I hit the gas after stopping. Also, the car has to be warmed up. I replaced the O2 sensor, but it still happens. If I let the engine cool for about 5-10 mins then I can put in a new fuse and it'll run for a while until I getted stopped at a light. Any thoughts?

Re: ignition fuse on 92 Metro

Are you using a 20 Amp fuse in the underdash fuse box for the Ignition fuse? If so, are there any other accessory's such as aftermarket car stereo's etc wired into this circut?

Re: ignition fuse on 92 Metro

yes it is a 20a

There was a random wire on the fuse (obviously not stock) but I have since taken it off.

I have found that the problem really only shows up if the veh is warmed up and it is idleing.
