can someone help. my brake lights just stay on even when i dont press on the brake pedal. u think its a sensor or a shortage or what can it be.

The stop lamp switch may be out of adjustment. It will usually slide either way without to much trouble, but if it slides freely it may need to be replaced due to the housing being worn out. It is also possible that the switch is broken internally and will need to be replaced. The switch can be found by following the brake pedal arm up until you see the wires and switch.
