hey-
new to the forum, so i thought i'd do an intro. can't figger out where you're supposed to post these, so here goes.

started working on cars as a kid, worked as a mechanic (gas and diesel) for years through college and after, drove tractor trailer, then changed to desk work. haven't really turned wrench seriously for about 30 yrs.

now my son has a '99 blazer that's turned out to be a disaster. i'd like to get him to do some repairs with me since it might force him to learn something about cars (kid could cross thread a nail) and since the car really isn't worth having the repairs done in a shop. thought you guys could help me get current with today's cars.

that's all, folks!

Welcome to the forum.

As for the how-to/tech forum, it is intended to be an archive of useful information, all threads must be approved and moved there by a moderator.
