The front left headlight (low beam).

The headlights burnt out and i go to replace it and i take a look at the bulb and it looks perfectly fine, Then I look at the terminal (where the bulb plugs into to..) and one of the terminals is shot ( looks like it got burnt)..

...so whats my options here guys

have you tried another bulb or is it pretty obvious that the harness won't work? You can get a new wire harness from NAPA for the cheap

Yeah ive tried a new bulb and that didnt work, how do you take the light harness off?? because I have a '90 accord parts car so I should have the parts neccesary im guessin

You'll have to clip/splice the wires to put the new harness on since the plastic has probably melted around the existing wires. With some prying and tugging you can probably get the original wires to separate from the bad harness.

If you've been using aftermarket bulbs then thats probably the reason the harness melted.

can I just cover the exposed wires with electrical tape after?

If you are going to splice in a new connector, make sure you solder the wires or use crimp connectors. The bulbs use considerable current and anything other then a very good connecton will cause the connection to generate enough heat to destroy your new harness. When using aftermarket bulbs make sure the wattage is no higher then the stock bulbs or you will melt the connector/wires.

no the bulbs are straight stock.
