what would be the purpose of this mod? of you get a metal roof in therory you could just weld it on, smooth it out and re paint

Re: s2000 roof top.

do you even own an s2000? Judging purely from your sig I'm assuming you don't... but a lil wishful thinking never hurt anybody

But the car looks so beautiful with the top down I don't see why anyone would opt to have it permanently up!

Re: s2000 roof top.

you're rite.I don't own the s2000 yet but i'm thinking of getting one.the reason why i want the hard roof top is because of the weather. In my country the weather is always hot,30-35degree so there is no use having the convertible.A part from that is because of safety reason.I'm aware that the crime rate in my country has increased tremendously. The thief can just stop their bike beside your car and cut the roof, threat u with a gun and then take your wallet, laptop n etc. I know it sound that i'm paranoid.but this is the fact nowadays. One thing that I can't resist about the s2000 is it's engine performance n also it is a 2 seater car.

another plus to this would be the added structural stability it would provide. but yea id say get the hardtop option and just have a shop weld it all on then repaint.
