Honda Passport 2001 NOISE

I recently sent my Honda to the dealer. The dealer fixed my shift. A week later, my car started making noises. When I turn the car, about 45 degrees, I hear a very loud thumping (almost a pop) under my car. It sounds like I have run over something and continually hit it.

Has anyone else experienced this??? Does any one have any idea what this noise could be? I am hesistant to return to the dealer without some car knowledge on the potentials of this problem, considering I just took it there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
V

Re: Honda Passport 2001 NOISE

does it keep popping while the wheel turns? if so most likely it is a bad CV joint. If it is one or 2 pops it is most likely the sway bar bumping up against the shock (mine does this too for years now).
