haven't got much pix yet just got it imported from Japan, it's a 97' Accord SiR-T with a F20B 200hp engine,
will keep u guys updated, coz will dump it with Koni shocks and coilvers soon with full mugen bodykit and dual twin exhaust, yes it's like the S2000 with dual exhaust, only mods i got on it now 16" light weight Enkei Rp02's and Rs Akimoto intake piping with Blitz Power sus air filter, damn thsi thign sucks air so loud it soudns like a bov, it's even louder then my old teg with remus exhaust and air filter and headers.:eek:

i got this a 97' Accord with 40k's for abt $5000us
plus abt $1000us shipping and $600tax
it had a slight damage which was a slitly scratched front bumper that onyl costed me $300 us to repaint and fix everything but one of this Xenon HID bulbs were broken as well, so had to fix that for $230us
damm expensive for a SINGLE HID bulb..sheesh..but it's so nice.
but yea..around $9000-$10000us insulcing set of new ENkei Rp02s adnd brand new tyres coz somehow it came with steel wheels.

What engine is in the Accord?

F20B2 DOhc..not the sohc ones.. it's a 200hp 5 speed motor,
it's acctually a H22A that was de-stroked to 2L and all re-balanced to rev higher and smoother, and got LSD, TCS etc, basiclly got high tech stufff in it, great for drag i wrekon..it acctually would control itself to slip less and get off the line quicker, great stuff.

and this is a 1350kg car.

That's the engine I was talking about! I'd started the thread a little ways back about what was in the japanese accord R/SiR. I was saying that a guy I worked with recommended that instead of going with the H22a, I should consider the F20, I was thinking he said H20 for some reason.
Anyways, that car is beautiful...

i guess he said H20 coz it looks like a H22A...acctually uses the same head etc

but the throttle body is larger then the H22A though, interesting.
but yea, basically this was well balanced after de-stoking it so it's much more ref happier as well,
and not sure abt TCS being with the engine or not, but this car is interesting, pretty hightech stuff, it's got this torque steered TCS and LSD combines with ABs blah blah that helps the car go the direction u turn it to no matter it's understeering or oversteering and it acctually works good.

This car is slow for a performance car. Camaro SS hits 13 no problem. I do like the look of an accord though...

there is certain things u can compare to, but compairing a camaro to a 2L luxury sedan Accord is plain stupid, and if ur not compairing, then what was the point of u pointing out a the fact that this isn't fast for a performance car when it isn't and then pointing out another fact that a camaro can do 13's,

oh yea..i did a 15.43 1/4mile, was my first time too out of 4 drags, and fully stock even before i got the intake.
and it was the first week of when i got the car, so i think i can do better coz dind't know the car well at first in japan they did a 15.2-15.3 stock.

hopefully can make it into 14's soon!

btw..is that a turbo delsol i see?!:eek:

whoa!!...u better have changed ur pistons to lower the compression coz B18C5 are high compression 205hp motors from the JDM 98' spec ITr line up!!:eek:

its like 10.0:1 stock for compression? change pistons why????? I know he machined blueprinted measured and all that crap. I'm pretty shure he has new rods too I can't recal at the moment.... but dude you wouldn't have to change the pistons for a motor running that c.r. Maybe an h22a but its just a turbo? I could see nitrous being a problem, But not a turbo that small. also that b18c is running 197hp why everyone says 200+ is beyond me trust me that motor is not running hot DT at 200+. I know a us type r running BB t/3/' with no problems.

keep in mind B18C5 motors are 98' Spec JDM integra type-R motors, correct me if i'm wrong,
and i'm not from the states as well, everything i learn about here from playing around with cars are J-Spec stuff,
and from my memory B18C5's or the JDM 98' Spec ITR's have a c/r of 11.1 and reason i say it's 205hp, is coz i have the japanese 98' spec ITR brochure here and it says 205hp, 5 hp more then the 96' Spec JDM ITR's.

your correct the motor is cr 11.0 : 1 doc your thinking of a gsr motor. however the motor is unfortunatly not 205hp although I wish it was, lol
We hot DT'd it or dyno tested it at 197hp at 8000rpm (stock) - over rated (unfortunatly) are the JDM specs on it. (also I replaced the pistons when I took the motor apart with JE) but i believe the motor would have been fine running straight with type R fac. pistons I have not seen this to be a problem in the past. Bad experience? I am always open to a fellow car enthusiast's in this case honda enthusiast's opinion. Any plans for future modification to you accord?

yea the honda brochures tend to be overrated, eg NEW JDM ITR's rated at 220hp, but ppl believed it was at 217hp really etc.


as for my car, well, big plans, next coming up are koni coilovers and shocks and then full mugen kit and then Mugen extractors, and dual twin pipe exhausts, maybe from 5 zigen making it 4 exhaust pipes (for show) and after all that i'll get msd ignition, toda camshafts and some adjustable pulley gear, and then hopefully save enough to get a FEEL's 2.2L stroker kit,

there was a Accord siR-T in japan with the FEEL's 2.2L stroker kit and some other basic mods and this is what he got.

137.4kw to a 160.9kw at the front wheels, just by using the stroker kit, and this pwoer does not include the changing of aftermarket camshafts like i'll do soon thou.:D but yea nothing comapred to ur turboed B18C5.:eek:.

high 11's to 12's maybe mid.... last dyno was at 355 Horsepower / 270 lbft Torque, but i can almost guarantee 400+ after recent teardown and tweak (I may be full of shit lol) need to dyno it again. sounds like a sweet setup man, my car is all go and no show lol, I'm just into the sleeper look but i may do a mugen body kit to the vehicle some day I like the simple lines of it. (There is only one way to describe that accord :eek2: tight......
