Win the extra cars.Moppie 09-14-2001, 10:16 PM Ok when you finnish a championship you get to choose between 3-4 cars. If you win it again do you then get to choose another car from whats remaining? Im to lazy to win a championship twice to find out. :D Lamborghini 09-16-2001, 05:48 AM It's random. So it's possible to get 2 of the same car. If you do the championships why not finish all the previous races but not the last. Once you get to the last race you should have about 11 points ahead of the 2nd plave winner. So now you don't have to do that last race. You can now 'choose' the car you want by loading the game up again and repeating this process til you get the car you want. Moppie 09-16-2001, 09:20 AM Really? you can just quite out with out doing the last race and it considers the championship one? cool. I won the Euro champ the other day, but got a stupid bloody Mini instead of the Opel. (I pressed x at the wrong time!!!!!!! ) Mclaren F1 09-17-2001, 01:04 AM that damn random choose car thing pisses me off!!!!! I come sooo close to getting an F1 car but yet sooo far......well atl least i have 1 F1 car!!!! Morpheus XIII 09-30-2001, 12:58 AM If you quit the last race, you get a loss. After doing this repeatedly, your win ratio gets shot to shit. It's better just to finish the last race, and if given a car you don't like, THEN reload the game and try again. There's no point in being impatient, because it hurts you one way or another. Yeah I know, sometimes you can win the same wrong car 6 times in a row, but hey, if I can do it, so can you. (Just don't throw your Dualshock2 at the TV). Heep 09-30-2001, 01:03 AM Originally posted by Morpheus XIII (Just don't throw your Dualshock2 at the TV). Sounds like you're speaking from experience :D Moppie 09-30-2001, 01:17 AM Im not fussed by the win ratio. I lost enough races to start with that its already pretty low. (the problem with not having a pS1 with GT1/2 to practice on first) Im just sick of using the f1 car to win races.. Its kinda to easy. But then I dont own any S class cars so in some races im kinda out classed. And I would rather win a C5 corvette, and I would like some of the Touring cars, so it simply easier to get a little tricky and not finnish the last race. Morpheus XIII 10-02-2001, 02:46 AM Originally posted by Heep Sounds like you're speaking from experience Yeah, you know it. :p I should tie a bungee cord to the controller, and then attach the other end to my head so whenever I chuck it, it will come back and remind me how much it costs. Ouch. Yeah without GT1/2 it takes a bit getting used to the driving dynamics. But the C5R is a good pick for many, many races, so keep going for it. carz 10-02-2001, 05:55 AM Moppie I have to say something! But thats not the Opel in the Euro champs its really the Virtigo race car! carz 10-02-2001, 05:57 AM This is the car im talking about!:D Jay! 10-02-2001, 06:08 AM Originally posted by Morpheus XIII Yeah, you know it. :p I should tie a bungee cord to the controller, and then attach the other end to my head so whenever I chuck it, it will come back and remind me how much it costs. Ouch. This provides such a marvelous mental picture. :lol2: Mclaren F1 10-02-2001, 10:55 PM Originally posted by carz Mclaren I have to say something! But thats not the Opel in the Euro champs its really the Virtigo race car! yeah i know that, i have all the Opels and the Vertigo, im just saying for any race with a formula 1, i get so close to getting it but end up starting over again because i missed it..... Morpheus XIII 10-03-2001, 04:47 AM Hey carz, try and be a bit more careful when you respond... Originally posted by carz Mclaren I have to say something! But thats not the Opel in the Euro champs its really the Virtigo race car! This statement shouldn't have been directed to Mclaren F1, but rather to Moppie with this previous post: Originally posted by Moppie I won the Euro champ the other day, but got a stupid bloody Mini instead of the Opel. And we can see how the confusion took place since the Opel prize car is from the German Touring Car Championship, which is very similar to the European Championship, which yields the Gillet Vertigo. carz 10-05-2001, 04:23 AM Very nice XIII!!Think you forme that!:D Moppie 10-06-2001, 12:16 AM Yeah I ment the German touring car championship. Iv since got the Gillet, but not had time to get the touring car. :D Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
